Description

This poster marks the day that Rabbi Akiva’s students stopped dying and the anniversary of the passing of one his five remaining students, Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai. It celebrates the survival of the mesorah by depicting two of their classic teachings: the importance of loving your neighbor as yourself by caring for your fellow Jew and the deep secrets of the Torah with which Rabbi Shimon lit up the world on his final day.
